At UP Crew, we believe support should start with the person, not the service.

We take an individualised, person-centred approach that encourages choice, independence, confidence and personal growth. We take the time to understand each person's interests, strengths, goals and support needs, and work alongside them to create opportunities that are meaningful to their life.

Whether it's navigating the community, developing social confidence, learning new skills, exploring employment, or taking part in activities and experiences, our focus is on supporting people to build capacity and greater independence in everyday life.

We believe real growth happens through real experiences.

Our team supports participants to develop practical skills, make choices, try new things and work towards their individual goals. This can include building confidence in social situations, developing community and travel skills, exploring training and employment opportunities, or simply discovering new interests.

Our activities and outings are not just about having fun — they provide opportunities to connect, learn, practise skills, build confidence and participate in community life.

 

Community & Connection

Connection is at the heart of UP Crew.

We support people to participate in their local community and build relationships beyond their immediate support network. We work alongside community organisations, employment providers and other partners to create meaningful opportunities for inclusion, participation and belonging.

We also believe in giving back and supporting the wider community wherever we can.
