The film follows George (played by Hugh Jackman), a shepherd who reads detective novels to his sheep every night, assuming they cannot understand. However, when George is found dead under mysterious circumstances, the sheep realize that a murder has occurred and decide to take matters into their own hooves. They begin investigating clues and interrogating human suspects, demonstrating surprising intelligence and detective skills as they try to solve the crime.
